Our Columbia neurosurgeons had another great week at the annual meeting of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). They spent their days moderating panels, giving workshops, presenting research, sharing their knowledge and learning from their peers.

But all this work comes with the opportunity to have some fun. Every year the Neurosurgery Department holds a party for Columbia Neurosurgery alumni. This is a time for the doctors to relax after a day of intense meetings, and it’s always a great opportunity for them to reconnect with friends and former colleagues.

As you can see from the pictures, there was plenty of good conversation and good company, with smiles all around.
