June 2014 New York Magazine Cover

We anticipate it every June, and finally the 2014 New York Magazine ‘Best Doctors’ issue is out. We are thrilled to say that Columbia Neurosurgery has a great showing once again this year.

The Department of Neurosurgery at Columbia University Medical Center/NY Presbyterian Hospital has seven peer-selected physicians on New York Magazine’s Best Doctors in New York list.

This year’s issue features 1,251 physicians from a comprehensive array of specialties, who practice in the New York Metro Area. The specialties represented by this department include, neurological surgery, neuro-radiology, and radiation oncology.

The doctors included in the magazine were chosen through a stringent screening and peer-review process developed by the research company Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. A more expanded version of their recommendations is published in their 2014 Top Doctors: New York Metro Area guidebook.
