New York Magazine’s 2012 Best Doctors List is out and we are proud to say that six of our doctors are on that list.

In the specialty of Neurological Surgery, 25 physicians are listed and five of them are a part of Columbia’s Department of Neurological Surgery: Dr. Robert Solomon, Dr. Michael B. Sisti, Dr. Neil Feldstein, Dr. Jeffrey Bruce and Dr. Paul McCormick. Also from the Department, Dr. Steven Isaacson is listed under the specialty of Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Robert Solomon, Department Chair and Byron Stookey Professor of Neurosurgery is an expert in Cerebrovascular Surgery.

Dr. Michael Sisti is the James G. McMurtry Associate Professor of Clinical Neurosurgery, Radiation Oncology & Otolaryngology as well as the Co-Director of the Center for Radiosurgery. He is also part of the Adult Brain Tumor Neurosurgery Team and an expert in Gamma Knife Radiosurgery.

Dr. Neil Feldstein is Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery and Director of Pediatric Neurological Surgery. He is also on our Pediatric Brain Tumor Team.

Dr. Jeffrey Bruce is the Edgar M. Housepian Professor of Neurological Surgery, Vice Chairman of Academic Affairs, Director of the Bartoli Brain Tumor Research Laboratory and Co-Director of the Brain Tumor Center.

Dr. Paul McCormick is the Herbert & Linda Gallen Professor of Neurological Surgery and Director of the Spine Center.

Dr. Steven Isaacson is Clinical Professor of Radiation Oncology (in Neurological Surgery) and Co-Director of the Center for Radiosurgery and is an expert in Gamma Knife Radiosurgery.
